writing is a gift of grace

i am reading another book by Grace Chong entitled Gifts of Grace. it is a very nice book about people from all walks of life. i enjoyed reading it, and i’m on the 2nd book now. how it came about? one day at national book store, i was browsing on inspirational books, a man came with a staff from the store saying, ang author nito si Grace Chong, laging pumupunta rito, tagarito siya sa las pinas. i got curious and bought one. after finished reading the book overnight, i emailed her (the email ad at the book). and she answered me. i was touched, since then up to now she answers my emails, giving me tips on how to write. her blogs were also interesting pieces to read. she inspires me a lot. i know God led me to her and i praise Him for that.

one of her blogs Should Grandmas Blog? made me smile. t’was  my faintest idea to write on blogs, though i am fond of writing my experiences and others too, in notebooks, in scratch papers, on anything i can hold on to since i was in hi school. my daughters and son in law kept prodding me to blog.

when i first got hold of a computer, i thought it was difficult. at my age now (senior citizen this year) medyo mahirap matuto. in the beginning, i had to write instructions in my notebook; how to open, how to go to google, how to write sa word, sa email, etc.

now i’m still learning, but i am enjoying it. one of the exciting time of the day is to be in front of my laptop.
